A rich and flavorful gravy perfect for your Thanksgiving feast, made from turkey drippings and simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
Dairy and Flour

all-purpose flour
Broth and Drippings

turkey broth (or chicken broth)

turkey drippings (or add extra broth)

tablespoon
thyme (finely chopped)
Instructions
Transfer turkey drippings to a measuring cup and set aside.
Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in flour to make a roux; cook for 1 minute.
Add drippings and broth to reach 4 cups; bring to a boil, then simmer 5-7 minutes until thickened.
Stir in chopped thyme, taste, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm.
Notes
For a thicker gravy, add more flour to the roux.
