Enjoy a delicious homemade cranberry turnover with a flaky puff pastry crust, perfectly cooked in the air fryer for a quick and tasty treat.

Ingredients

Filling

  • 3 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Puff Pastry

  • 1 sheet Frozen Puff Pastry

Egg Wash

  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Glaze

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon heavy cream or half and half
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions 

  • Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer until cranberries split, about 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Cut puff pastry into 4 squares. Beat egg with water to make egg wash.
  • Scoop cranberry filling onto each square, brush edges with egg wash, fold, and seal. Cut slits on top.
  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Cook turnovers for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned. Cool slightly.
  • Mix powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over turnovers before serving.

Notes

For a glossy finish, brush turnovers with additional egg wash before baking.
